Our History

We began in Oklahoma City in 1994. Toney Butts, after years of being in charge of installations for a local dealership installing multiple brands of furniture, shelving and storage products as well as developing a reputation in the industry as a “Go to guy” for problem solving, decided it was time to break out on his own by contracting installations for many manufacturers and dealers throughout the region. It was a natural move since so many companies were relying on his expertise and knowledge about the products. It was then Big T Installations was born! He recruited only the best installers for his team of professionals and trained them on the many product lines available; developing what is now one of the best networked teams of installers around the country. Catering primarily to dealers, and working closely with manufacturers to help improve the products, Big T Installations gained notoriety and national recognition as one of the premier installation companies of its kind. As his reputation for quality service, and product knowledge grew, major corporations became reliant on him to gain incite on which products and manufacturers were best suited for their particular applications and eventually drove the company to new heights. It was time for Big T Installations to step into the driver’s seat and become an independent representative for the best manufacturers in the business.

Generating better ways for companies to locate and purchase the “Right Products” to fit their applications and help manufacturers improve products while reducing major cost factors that get passed on to the retail customers. We also want to create a new standard of excellence in training installation and service personnel with all manufacturers and dealers to ensure only the highest level of quality.

• For dealers and suppliers – As we have done for many years, we want to continue our mission to provide the most reliable and knowledgeable installation and service personnel in the industry to help you care for your clients needs. You will always have the confidence in knowing that regardless of the situation, we can and will overcome any and all obstacles related to not only the installations, but client relations as well. We are professional and will represent you with the finest integrity and courtesy possible.
• For the manufacturers – It is a well known fact, yet rarely initiated, that product improvements can only be made better if you receive feedback from the people who work with your products. We consider this extremely important and will always work to gain you support in this area from both the installers and the consumers. Communication is vital to the success for us all!
• For the installers and service personnel – Poor training and business practices are passed down when the wrong instructor is in charge. We want you to understand that we have always standardized on “Factory training and certification” on all the products to ensure only the highest level of quality workmanship, safety, and warranty validation. To become the best at what you do, you need training by someone qualified, and in this industry we are recognized and authorized by most all the major manufacturers to provide that training for you.
